Yes,there are some great fanedits out there! Even by professional celebrity types like Topher Grace and Steven Soderbergh. But fanedit intel-websites like OriginalTrilogy.com, reddit's-r/fanedits AND especially fanedits.org are dead-forums that took themselves TOO seriously. It's like that episode of "Seinfeld" where Jerry is manipulated into pirating a movie with a camcorder by a bad-friend only to become obsessed with the dark hobby and thinking he's Martin Scorcese.
